M.O.M.S.' mission is to provide Comforts from Home for those serving abroad as well as moral support and camaraderie to their families.

In the past eight years, and with the love, generosity and support of Sonoma County and others from the North Bay, M.O.M.S. has shipped 102,601 pounds of Comforts from Home care package goodies to our deployed Sonoma County Troops stationed in Iraq, Egypt, Afghanistan, Albania, Korea, Syrian Border, Japan and Okinawa.

Mothers of Military Servicemembers was founded in early 2003 by a Sonoma County mother of a young soldier attached to the 173rd Airborne. Her son was injured in his efforts to prepare for the first deployment of 'Operation Iraqi Freedom.'

M.O.M.S. was organized in his honor and in honor of all the fine men and women who dedicate themselves to serve our Country in the United States Armed Forces.
